How does Appreciate.bio work?
A creator makes a public page, shares the link, and gives people a simple way to send one-time or monthly financial appreciation together with optional meaningful words.
1. Create a public Appreciate page
A creator adds their name, photo, bio, and links. Eligible creators choose a per-appreciation amount from $5 to $500.
2. Share the page
The creator shares their canonical Appreciate link on a website, social profile, newsletter, portfolio, video description, or wherever people discover their work.
3. A supporter chooses financial appreciation
The supporter chooses how many appreciations to send. The amount shown by the page is calculated from the creator's current configured amount and remains server-authoritative.
4. Meaningful words can come with it
A supporter can add a message about what the work meant to them and can add a name or social handle. Both fields are optional.
5. Support can be one-time or monthly
One-time appreciation is the default. Monthly appreciation is available where supported, without requiring membership benefits, rewards, or exclusive content.
6. An eligible creator receives support
The creator must connect an eligible, verified Stripe account before paid appreciation becomes available. Payment availability depends on the creator's country and verification status.
7. The message stays private unless both sides allow sharing
The supporter chooses whether the message may be published. If permission exists, the recipient decides whether to add it to their public Wall and can remove it later.
