Who is Appreciate for?
Appreciate is for creators whose work reaches people, including artists, writers, photographers, educators, and content creators. It gives an audience a direct place to say what the work meant and include financial support.
Paid appreciation is available where Appreciate supports the creator's country and Stripe account. Availability depends on payment eligibility and verification requirements.
How does appreciation work?
A creator makes a public page and shares its link. A supporter chooses the number of appreciations, can add a name and meaningful words, and chooses one-time or monthly support where available.
Every completed appreciation includes financial support. A message and sender name are optional.
What does Appreciate cost?
Creating a page is free. Appreciate charges a 5% platform fee on paid appreciation, and applicable payment processing fees may also apply.
Does a creator need memberships or rewards?
No. One-time and monthly appreciation do not require membership tiers, rewards, exclusive content, or extra work from the creator.
How is appreciation different from a traditional tip?
Appreciation gives meaningful words a central place alongside financial support. It lets someone explain what they saw, felt, learned, or carried forward from a creator's work.
How are payments and public messages handled?
Eligible creators connect an approved Stripe account and complete required verification. Stripe handles payment details; Appreciate does not store card numbers.
A message remains private unless the supporter permits publication and the recipient chooses to publish it. The recipient can remove a published message later, and financial details remain private.
