Where creators can receive paid appreciation
Paid appreciation currently requires an eligible U.S. Stripe Standard account and is received in USD. The connection must meet verification and payment-readiness requirements. Availability does not extend to every country.
Can I create a page before connecting Stripe?
Yes. Creating a page and receiving paid appreciation are separate steps. You can create a page under Appreciate's normal account and community rules without a Stripe connection. Paid appreciation stays unavailable until supported payment setup is complete and support is enabled.
Does Appreciate support every country where Stripe operates?
No. Stripe's availability in a country does not by itself make that country eligible for paid appreciation on Appreciate. Appreciate supports only the country and account configurations approved for its own Stripe connection.
What does an eligible Stripe connection need?
The connected account must meet Appreciate's supported-country and account requirements, complete Stripe verification, and be ready to accept payments and receive payouts. Connecting an account alone does not guarantee that paid appreciation is available.
What if my payment setup is not supported?
You can keep your Appreciate page, subject to the normal product rules. Paid appreciation remains unavailable unless your setup becomes supported, meets verification requirements, and has support enabled. No date for additional country support is promised.
How do I check my setup?
Check your country during payout setup. Sign in and open Payouts to review your Stripe connection and payment readiness before inviting financial support.
