Privacy

We use account information to sign you in and provide your page. Appreciation messages are stored for their recipients. Guest appreciation does not require an Appreciate.bio account. The message and sender name are optional; Checkout may collect payment and payer contact information.

What becomes public

Your public profile, selected links and approved Wall messages are public. A message requires the sender’s publication permission and the recipient’s approval. Private emails and financial amounts do not appear on public profiles, permalinks or share images. Eligible public cards may display the original number of appreciation units.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication, database and image storage; Vercel hosts the application; Resend delivers enabled transactional notifications; Stripe processes enabled payments and recipient onboarding. Stripe’s hosted pages collect payment details; Appreciate.bio does not store card numbers.

Cookies and measurement

Cookies support sign-in, payment status and short-lived referral attribution. Behavioral events use references and event types, not message text, sender names or private email addresses. Transactional notices and marketing consent are separate.

Export and deletion

Settings provides downloadable profile, message and financial records in bounded parts. Deletion hides your profile immediately and removes content, images and authentication through retryable cleanup. Required financial records are kept separately for refunds, disputes and reconciliation. Payment history is not erased by deleting a message.

Downloaded/shared copies and already delivered email cannot be recalled. Backups require a separate retention and deletion-replay process. Final financial and backup retention periods, privacy request contact details and legal requirements need owner review before launch.
