Appreciations, payments and cancellation

Creating a page is free. Sending an appreciation requires payment where enabled: one appreciation is $5 USD, two are $10 USD and five are $25 USD. You can enter another amount of at least $5 USD. A message and sender name are optional.

One-time or monthly

One-time support is a single payment. Monthly support renews each month until canceled. Availability depends on recipient eligibility. There are no membership tiers, rewards or gated content. Financial support never changes public Wall ordering or inflates the message count.

Fees and payouts

Appreciate.bio charges a 5% platform fee. Stripe payment processing costs and any currency conversion charges are separate. The creator’s net is determined by the provider’s actual accounting, not simply the payment amount minus 5%; no fixed net payout is guaranteed. Stripe handles secure checkout, recipient identity checks and payouts where the account and country are eligible. There is no Appreciate.bio wallet.

Canceling monthly support

Open Manage monthly support to recover billing access using the recipient’s username and your Checkout email, or use your payment confirmation. Stripe’s customer portal provides payment management and cancellation. Cancellation normally stops renewal at the end of the current paid period; confirm the date shown there. Account deletion cancels active monthly relationships as part of cleanup.

Refunds and disputes

Deleting an appreciation or account does not automatically refund past payments. Refunds and disputes have separate provider-confirmed states. The final refund policy and support contact require owner/legal review before live payments launch.

India eligibility remains approval-pending. No promise of worldwide payment or payout availability is made.
